Macon County 9-1-1 Communications Center dispatches for all law enforcement,
fire and EMS agencies in Macon County.
We also provide after-hours dispatching of municipal
utilities crews and communicate and relay information to various other
agencies in Macon County including but not limited to
Lead Telecommunicator - Todd Seagle - 349-2232
Macon County has an enhanced 9-1-1 system with a G.I.S.
based mapping system and has dispatched over 29,803 calls for
assistance in 2007.
9-1-1 should be accessed by someone when they
actually need emergency response or assistance from law enforcement, fire,
or EMS departments.
All other requests for service should be addressed
to alternate seven digit phone numbers or addressed with the appropriate
department directly.
