NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Macon County will hold a public hearing on certain amendments to the Subdivision Ordinance at its January 25th, 2010, meeting, which will convene at 2:00 P.M. in the Commissioners Board Room, Third Floor, Macon County Courthouse, 5 West Main Street, Franklin, NC.
The Board will consider the Planning Board’s recommendation to amend the Subdivision Ordinance to include revisions to definitions of “access road”, “private road”, “public road”, “residential lot”, “spur road”, and “technical review committee”; revisions for appeals, conservation communities, improvements guarantees, and certain design standards for improvements; and other technical amendments.
Copies of the Subdivision Ordinance with proposed revisions are available at the Macon County Permitting Planning and Development Department located at 1834 Lakeside Drive in Franklin NC.
Questions pertaining to the proposed revisions to the Macon County Subdivision Ordinance should be directed to Jack Morgan or Derek Roland at the Permitting Planning and Development office at 828-349-2072.
All persons interested in the foregoing item are invited to attend this public hearing.

MACON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MEETING NOTICE
The regular meeting of the Macon County Board of Commissioners scheduled for Monday, November 23, 2009, has been
rescheduled for Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 6 p.m. in the Commissioners Board Room on the third floor of
the courthouse. No meeting will be held on November 23rd.
The regular meeting scheduled for Monday, December 14, 2009, at 6 p.m. will be held. The second regular
meeting scheduled for Monday, December 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. has been cancelled.
