PUBLIC NOTICE
MACON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MEETING NOTIFICATION
The date of the regular August meeting of the Macon County Board of Commissioners
scheduled for August 11, 2008 has been changed to Monday, August 4th.
Agenda items will be due no later than Tuesday, July 22nd.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Macon County Budget for 2008-09 was submitted to the Macon County Board of
Commissioners on May 12, 2008, and a copy is available for public inspection at
the receptionist desk at the Macon County Courthouse Annex Building, Franklin, N.C.
Copies are also on file at the Hudson Library in Highlands, the Macon County
Public Library in Franklin and the Nantahala Library at 128 Nantahala School Road
or can be accessed on the County’s web site (maconnc.org)
The Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the budget, including Home
Community Care Block Grant Funding, at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2008, in Courtroom
A on the fourth floor of the Macon County Courthouse.

NOTICE OF ESTABLISHMENT OF THE TIME AND PLACE OF THE
REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE MACON COUNTY BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of N.C.G.S. 153A-40, the Macon
County Board of Commissioners has fixed the time and place of its regular meetings as
follows:
- Day of Month: First Monday
- Time of Day: 6 p.m. beginning February 3, 2003
- Place: Commissioner Board Room, 4th Floor,
Macon County Courthouse, 5 West Main Street
Franklin, NC 28734
As of the 2nd day of December, 2002, upon which date a Resolution establishing the
meeting schedule was adopted. A copy of this notice has been duly posted at the Macon
County Courthouse, this the 7th day of January, 2003.
